I feel like I'm a true grinder at the game of life.
I've always like to challenge myself to new things in life and to try to master it. Although it wasn't till last year when I truly appreciated life a lot more. About six years ago I was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis or what is commonly known as blood clots. Its was discovered after a flight out to CA where I ended up in a ER and wasn't allowed to fly till I was put on blood thinners. Its very scary to be in the ER across the country by yourself and have a doctor tell you they were surprised that you were still alive.
This year I was just given a clean bill of health by my doctor which is kind of like a second chance at life.
I decided to continue to challenge myself with new things. I do art, biking, shooting I bowled my first 200 last year, I did my first 5k in several years, I even started archery and hunting. Of course my newest challenge is I've taken on is poker. I just started February of 2012 in the casinos with tournaments. In March I tried out my first WSOPC ladies event and bubbled at 17th. I'm just starting to make some final tables and have cashed in probably 10 including a deep stack at the WSOP this year. Hope to win my first tournament this coming year. You have one and only one life and you are the only one that has the choice of what to do with it.
